My Background & Training...

I am licensed in the state of Washington as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (License #MG60130616). I have a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific
University, with a focus on individual and couples’ work. I also earned a B.S. in Organizational Behavior at Seattle Pacific University. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), accountable to the ethical codes of the AACC and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

I counsel individuals, couples and families from a

systemic, holistic lens, treating many disorders,

issues, and life struggles, with a focus on:

~ relationship betrayal and crisis ~ pre-marital ~

~ drug, alcohol and food addictions ~ complex

and/or post traumatic stress disorders ~ childhood

neglect and abandonment ~ insecure attachment

styles and reparation ~ trauma and abuse (including spiritual/clergy

and professional abuse) ~ grief and loss ~ anxiety and panic ~

~ life transition and personal growth.

  • Freedom... Hope... Healing...

I have received advanced training in Lifespan Integration, and I pull from several other modalities depending on the client’s needs, such as: Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative and Solutions. I also utilize much of Dr. Henry Cloud's and Dr. John Townsend's material (Boundaries, Changes That Heal, etc), as well as other New Life Ministries authors. My aim is to provide a safe, boundaried therapeutic relationship in which the client is free to explore the truth about his or her own life experience. Together we will collaborate to provide this in the therapeutic process as we work toward reaching your goals for healing, improved relationships and finding solutions in your life.

I have been trained and receive ongoing training to help with a wide
range of personal, couple and family issues, including: emotion regulation; distress tolerance; interpersonal effectiveness; pre-marital counseling; anxiety; depression; complex trauma; PTSD; professional misconduct; and substance abuse.
